Lions, Tigers and NO BEARS, oh my!
This past weekend, Jordan took me to the Hogle Zoo!! It was so exciting, the last time I went to the zoo was probably when I was in Florida a long time ago. I was like a kid in a candy store! It was so cool to see the animals. I am from Iowa... there aren't too many zoos there. I think the closest thing was a petting zoo. There were some sheep and a few sad looking monkeys. So in comparison the Hogle Zoo was the bomb! I got to see tigers, penguins, monkeys, rhinoceros (I don't know how to make this plural), and elephants --there was a baby one! I was really excited to see the bears but they are in Oregon until they finish some project. I will post some pictures of the exciting day later.

I love the Hogle zoo. Even though they sent the hippo away to live in Albuquerque.

Kim--I loved it! I really really wanted to see the hippo!! I was a little sad about that!
Corrine-- I might have to stop by that one. I like the very subtle hints. :)
The picture of Jordan in the apes arms reminds me of that movie preview with Seth Green and the ape is holding him and the ape gets mad when Seth stops singing to him! Hahahaha! I'm glad you had fun! We just took Teagan to the zoo for the first time and we got her a stuffed hippo that she's obsessed with!
