We had our engagement pictures take on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Lehi Train Station. At first I was bugged that we had to drive down there and that she didn't really know of any places in Salt Lake but it was so cool. I liked the buildings and train tracks. To view a few of our engagements you can go here. There are a few that we really like. I am excited to start putting together an announcement. Hopefully soon you, my friends will be getting one in the mail!
We also turned in our application for the apartment we want. We had to have a background check and credit check done on both of us. Luckily, we passed! It kind of stinks that we had to pay $50 to get something done that we knew we would pass. I guess to get an apartment that is criminal free and cute we have to do it. I think on Saturday we will probably put the deposit down and secure the actual apartment we want.
We also have been stuck on a reception center. We are leaning strongly to Noah's in South Jordan. It is pretty close to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, in fact from the room that we would have we can see it in the distance! It's kind of romantic and sweet! However, there is another Noah's in Lindon and the rent for the room is half as much and it only holds 30 less people. Decisions. Not one of my strong suits.
Oh I did buy cute little outfits for the nephews for the wedding. I should put some pictures up of them. They are going to wear dark gray pants with a white shirt and a purple and black striped tie. They will look adorable!! The nieces and future niece are a different story. I either want a gray dress and they can wear a purple cardigan or vice versa. It's so fun to pick out stuff for the kids.
I had an awakening this last week because Jordan has a reminder to pay his rent that goes off on his computer. I told him this is the last rent check that he has to pay in that apartment! Then we will be paying the rent for our new place! Crazy!
People! It's only 78 days away!
Have a happy day.

Cookie Cutter wreaths
Last night my friend Michelle and I made some cookie cutter Christmas wreaths. I think they turned out pretty well. I will put some pictures of the finish product soon. We found the instructions on Good Housekeeping's website. We made a few modifications. Next on my craft to do list is this. Maybe I'll do both but maybe just a pumpkin or a Christmas tree. I think they are so cute!
Til my next craft adventure... Adios!

Wedding ramblings #1
I read somewhere that it is a good idea to write down your thoughts, feelings and plans while you are engaged and planning your wedding. SOOOOOO I am going to try it.
Jordan and I are getting married February 4, 2011 in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple here in Utah. Of course we chose the name of the month I can't spell! I thought since we are going have a long engagement I wasn't going to turn into a Bridezilla. FALSE. I. am. So you may want to stay away.
It takes a lot of time thinking of what you want to do-your colors, flowers, photographer, where you have a reception, what to serve, and I have a BUDGET. Boo.
We have accomplished a few things:
Ahhhh..... much better. Hopefully soon I'll have more to update. I am so excited to be getting married to the kindest man ever! 91 days people!

We have accomplished a few things:
- We have set the temple date
- We have found an apartment we like (Jordan is moving into it at the end of December)
- I have my wedding dress
- We have found a photographer--set up a time to meet, time for engagement pictures, and set up a day to have some pictures taken a few days before we get married
- We have some travel arrangements taken care of too
- We made a form to send out to people so they can add their addresses to a database
- We have registered a little bit
Ahhhh..... much better. Hopefully soon I'll have more to update. I am so excited to be getting married to the kindest man ever! 91 days people!
