I have been into a crafty mood lately and I had an old frame in my tote of craft stuff, so I decided to revamp it. I always have ideas but then am too scared to try them. But I got up courage and figured if it looked terrible I would just stick it back in the tote. :) I sanded off the words and then put a little bit of cream paint to see if I wanted to paint it cream or the green that we painted our wall. This is what it looked like before...
I gave it a few coats of the green I had from painting our bedroom wall and coated it with some clear enamel. I painted a piece of cardboard and put "peace" on it.
Before I put it all together I made a little yo-yo flower and glued it onto the frame. This is what it looks like now! I think it look pretty good. It is nice and simple but has a little character with the flower. My next project is going to be an entry table...maybe :)
