So I am in Arizona doing my internship. I am working for Ameriprise Financial. So far I am actually enjoying it! I look forward to going to work. One, it gets me out of the apartment. Two, it gets me doing something. I don't really like it here because things and people have changed so much. I am getting used to the weather, but when you don't know anyone, it is hard to enjoy yourself. I pictured this semester a lot different. The Lord is definitely trying my patience and faith. I know I am supposed to be here for a reason, but I am still trying to figure out what it is. I am glad that my Mom still answers the phone when I ring her because I call so frequently!!
As for my future, I am looking into jobs across the country. I am looking in Salt Lake, Cedar Rapids, and in Arizona. I have had a phone interview with Vangaurd. It seems like a good company but the position isn't something I am too thrilled about. I am also looking into Edward Jones because you can basically open up your own practice anywhere in the country. There is also a possibility of getting signed on at Ameriprise. I think that I would like it. But for all of these paths, I have to get licensed. That means I have to take the Series 6 test. AHHH scary. Well, it will have to be done so I may as well start studying for it now!
