Jordan and I moved to Washington state at the end of March. We were so lucky to have wonderful friends to help us pack up our stuff and put it into the truck. We have been living with Jordan's parents and so far it has been alright. I can't complain! We have been working with a realtor and looking for a house. We have seen a few that we like and hope that soon we can find one we love and put an offer on it! It will be a great feeling to have our own little home and some privacy.
Looking for homes is mostly fun but at times it can be stressful. I have come to learn that realtors know how to make a house look appealing on paper even though when you go see it, it stinks of urine, has peeling walls, stained carpet and no kitchen! Why did you just waste an hour of my time?! At least you could mention it was a indoor pet house, then I would have some inclination that it could smell like pee. Anyway...we have two in mind that we like so we will see what happens with that!
This week we get to go see our new niece and attend the blessing. I love baby blessings, they are such a sacred experience and I always feel the love of our Heavenly Father. I am so excited to spend time with the Corrine, Kristofer, and the cute kids! It will rock my world.
I was able to see my mom a few weeks ago and we got to spend some great time together thrifting, talking, working in the garden and vegging. I love her and I miss her and am so glad to be closer to her!
Other than that I have been staying home and not much else. I may start looking for a part-time job or maybe full-time. We shall see. Anyway, I am happy for this new adventure Jordan and I am on and can't wait to see what lies ahead!

cant wait to see you too!! Glad everything is going well in the house hunting game... ;) see you soon!!!
Hey friend! Welcome to Washington!!! What part of Washington are you living in? and good luck with the house hunting! :)
Yay! I'm glad everything went well during your move! I'm glad your house hunting has been going well too! We have been house hunting for the last 6 months or so too and let me tell ya, I. HATE. HOUSE. HUNTING! Haha! We have put in over 15 offers, had 2 accepted, and then lost both due to the bank! At least we're getting to be experts at the paperwork :) I am wishing you lots and lots of positive thoughts! Hopefully you'll find a house you love and get an accepted offer right away! How close are you to your mom? Is Amanda still thinking of moving to Washington too? I hope you're doing fabulously! Love ya!
Jacqueline-- We moved to Kent, it's just south of Seattle. Thanks I am starting that we are going to need luck! I hope everything with you is going well. Are you in Washington too?
Whit-- That seriously stinks! That is a lot of house hunting!I have been trying to stay positive but it is hard when you want something you love but can't find it! We haven't put any offers in yet but have been interested in a few short sales. It is so scary! I am glad you are finding the silver lining in your situation. Experts in paperwork. Do you have a agent or are you doing it on your own? Hopefully you can find something! Where are you looking? How is everything? We live about 2.5 hours from my mom so I saw her a few weeks ago. I think Amanda wants to move out here but there are things holding her back so I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. We can always wish! How are things with you, the kids, and Ryan? I hope everything is wonderful! Love ya Whit!!
Love you too! We are doing pretty good. How are you and Jordan? How's living with the in-laws? House hunting is exhausting! We have been trying to stay positive but there have been a few pretty heartbreaking moments. We have been looking in the North Scottsdale/ North Phoenix area and it is so competitive! Is it very competitive where you're looking? We're working with a realtor (who is also in our bishopric!), are you working with a realtor? What kind of house are you looking for? I'm so excited for you guys! How are you guys doing? We should have a phone date sometime soon!
Jordan and I are good! He is working and I am looking for some type of work. We will see. :) Living with the in-laws is good. It's just an adjustment living under someone else's roof. I would be happy if we found a house soon! Each time we go house hunting, I take a nap when we get back! I just get tired! I get really attached to houses then they get sold and I am sad. I don't want to think what would happen if we actually put an offer on one and we didn't get it. I think it is pretty competitive here because nice houses get snatched up quick- they could have offers the next day. That is super nice you are working with someone you already know. We asked his parent's if they had any recommendations for a Realtor but they didn't so we searched online. We called a few and talked with them and we liked the one we have the most so we went with her. We are looking for at least 3 bed, 2 bath, with a nice kitchen & family room, an office and .25 acre. The acreage is what is limiting our possibilities. Some of the developments have lots that are like 5000 sqft. which is nothing! I want to be able to tell the kids to go outside and play! What are you looking for? I had a dream that you found your perfect house so I hope that happens soon for you! We should definitely have a phone date! How are the girls? I saw a picture of Teagan awhile ago and I couldn't believe how big she is getting! How is Ainsley? I am so happy for you guys and your darling family! We definitely need a phone date soon! I don't have a job right now so I am totally free all the time! :)
I am going to try calling you tomorrow probably around 2pm AZ time (I'm not sure what the time difference is from there to here...) I am so excited to talk to you! It's been too long!
